I thought Song had a storming defensive game. He was pretty dire with the ball at his feet but he sat back and did his job properly for the first time at home since I can remember. That is how I would have him play every game

sunderland were wasting time.
there were plenty of substitutions and a goal.
one of the ferw things the officials got right was adding proper time on

Can't wait to see RVP's free kick. I don't remember the last good one.

Starman, when was the last direct free kick RVP scored?

We were poor and we're very very lucky we have someone like RVP in the squad.

Rosicky was quality, still mindblown that wenger took him off

rosicky took a knock just before

It was a great FK from Robin. Nice to see him get one of those in at last. He is often close and i hope this gives him confidence to belt in some more dead-balls

Somehow it's more believable coming from starman.
You know Gunn is probably right but until you have confirmation from starman it can't be accepted as 100% fact.

Glad we won, but as someone pointed out Sunderland basically went into the game with a 4-5-0 formation. They had no Bendtner or Gyan today and we struggled to get the three points at home. Definately not a convincing 3 points bar the first 20-30 minute spell
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

better than the 1point we got against them last season or 08/09 or00/01
a win is a win is a win.
oh and the crowd was better than the 20 thousand that watched us draw 0-0 at home to oxford at the same stage of the 86/87 season but this emirates lot are so fickle?
