I think you've glossed over far too many crap ones.
Consistent? The only thing he's done consistently with his crossing is hit the first man.
And you can't always blame the other players for not trying to get on the end of them. You have to at least put the ball in the right area first. Sagna never seems to do that.
When it comes to crossing alone Jenkinson > Sagna.

Plus he can cross with both feet as he demonstrated yesterday.

I thought he was f***ing appalling... Brown should have been off at least twice... and what was Kos booked for?

For me it was a repeat of the WC final. 1000 yellow cards and no reds because he's terrified of the red card.
Loads of cynical fouls in the final third from Sunderland who just couldn't keep up with us. Every member of their team got a yellow but conveniently none of them got a second one.
Their tackling was appalling yesterday and they got away with it.

Sagna can't cross for sh*t,how anyone could think otherwise is beyond me?

Jenkinson is already better in that department

The first 25 minutes we were back to our best. We should have been 4 up. Anyway credit to the lads for grinding out a win in the end. RVP was world class. Jenkinson did very well. As did Gervinho until he tired himself out. Onwards and upwards for us now.

Just watched the game, Rosicky was absolutely brilliant, offered so much more than Ramsey has done recentley. I'd like him to start midweek too since he got hauled off early.

Not sure how you can say that. Sagna puts in at LEAST one or two fantastic crosses per game. Jenkinson has played a couple of games where he has crossed the ball well.
As to Inch's comment, yes Sagna makes some crap crosses, but thats football. If Jenkinson does it each and every time he steps on the park then I will hold up my hand and say he is better, but people need to stop living in the moment.

friedslice wrote:There doesn't seem to be any tactics. it's just sideways passes until we reach the final third then we pass backwards and start again before eventually putting in a shit cross that's either cleared or goes for a corner which we subsequently waste.

the defence hasn't improved a bit, the CB's are stood at different lines whenever a ball is played in and neither seem to want to assert themselves on anything that comes in their vacinity and Jenkinson is one of the worst footballers i've seen starting for the arsenal.
again their goal came about from shit set piece defending, 3 times we failed to clear the ball properly from the set piece; Song jumped in the air and got nowhere near the ball, it bounced and koscielny missed it, bounced again Gibbs hacks it clear before Arteta's stupid foul. All a complete Benny Hill sketch at the back.

Song can't pass to save his life, he's played two of the worst passes i've ever seen already this half.
Walcott, what does he do?
He's like Henry......on those shit sulky days he used to have where he'd disappear off to the touchline and do as close to f**k all as possible. Theo can't play a defence splitting pass, can't play a good long ball or cross, can't take on players and never gets himself into goalscoring positions, what's the f***ing point of him.
and Rosicky, somehow managing to go completely annonymous throughout despite playing in a central role - the Fabregas role. He's more useful when he's injured.

Gervinho, Chesney, Gibbs and RVP the only players of any worth that half.

alex song has 13 assists, theo walcott has 29 assists and 39goals.
theo had a poor game and has,nt progressed as we would have liked song was below par but throwing our hands up and declaring everything shit is not helping the situation.we have to get 100 per cent behind em.in and out the ground
