On the subject of Sagna/Ekotto, seen it again and if anything Sagna was the one who fouled Ekotto.

Can't believe I've seen some fans saying "Okay so we lost, but at least we performed decently". That's what Tottenham supporters used to say after the North London derby...

Yeah I have to say I was pretty relieved when he was taken off. Like I said in my earlier post, the grin on his face all the game really pissed me off and i so wanted someone to wipe it off!

What, really!?! Did he really say that?

On his day... Greedybayor was a much better lone striker for us than RVP could ever be. RVP will always be a much more skilful player but as a lone striker Greedy > RVP.

Just a shame that he became a Greedy SOB.

We need a clean slate.
Sad to say its come to a point where I no longer look forward to one of our games. And I think its safe to say that many Arsenal fans predicted todays outcome.

Come next summer (maybe even as early as January), I would like to see a mass exodus of the deadwoods. Will it happen? I doubt it because MANY CALLED FOR THIS EXACT EXODUS TO HAPPEN DURING THE SUMMER THAT JUST WENT BY :shout: :BangHead: !!!

See my sig for the positions that need addressing :disgust:

"Arsenal fans who taunted Emmanuel Adebayor during Sunday's north London derby with chants mocking the deadly gun attack last year on his Togo team."

not to be an ass but i really don't care all that much about the clowns in the stands who can't exercise some decency. rather more interested in the 11 clowns on the field who can't put in a solid performance on a regular basis.. just saying

Just goes to show yer though, the media and their approach to Arsenal. I don't condone the Adebayor chant, but is it really that a big a deal? It's football fans, alcohol filled on a hot/humid day, North London derby... let's just say silly boys and girls who got carried away. But what annoys me is how Redknapp stoked the fire before the game mentionin the chants, as if he hasn't managed teams before who's fans sung the same song Adebayor played for us, as if he hasn't managed clubs that chant personal, sick, twisted stories that Arsene Wenger sexually abuses children. He didn't mention after the game that Spuds were singin that. Neither did any media outlet. 1 rule for one and 1 for the other. 15 years Wenger's had that to endure. 15 years. Started by Spuds, spread like wildfire by Danny Kelly (Spud fan, works on the radio) and 15 years on it's still there. Cos paedophilia is hilarious ain't it?

f***ing disgusted.
Same old story:

Plenty of possession no end products
Loads of sideways passes with the final ball not being good enough
opposition carve us up whenever they fancy it
we give up a free header every set piece
get out muscled as soon as the going gets tough
no organisation at the back
no leadership
Worst defence in the history of our club

All issues we see repeat themselves week after week (occasionally papered over by our strikers finishing a chance), it's been like it for years and it's getting worse.
what's more annoying is each issue is easily rectified yet he chooses not to, time to go arsene

My Ratings:

Chesney 8 (out of 10): saved us several times. would of got a 10 but i think he should have done better with both goals where he dived on the spot.

Sagna: 7, thought he did well, we're going to miss him badly

Mertesacker: 5, looked like a lost boy in London, constantly out of position, not contesting headers, getting outjumped and being late in the tackle..

Song: 6, thought he held his own for a mekeshift CB but was slack a few times.

Gibbs: 6, some good moments but out of position alot.

Ramsey: 3, and that's only for the goal. he was terrible today, gave it away regularly, was out of position alot and was terrible in defence (lost his man regularly, bottled challenges etc).

Coquelin: 7, stood his ground, only a small lad but used his body and looked comfortable on the ball.

Gervinho: 8. thought he was our best player, looked lively with the ball at his feet, cut inside well. should have scored though.

Walcott: 6, another nothing game. came inside well a few times but other than that didn't do much.

Arteta: 7, looked good at times controlling the midfield, doesn't muck in enough though and pulled out of 50,50 balls.

RVP: 5, annonymous throughout i thought.

subs:

Benayoun: 6: didn't do much when he came on.

Jenkinson: 3: REALLY! If he's playing regularly from now we're in trouble. It's like we've regressed back to the Eddie McGoldrick level signings. Bale mugged him off every time he got the ball, went around him like he wasn't there. Oh and he looks a mug with his running style!!! hope he improves drastically, quickly!!!

Why does Chesney get an 8? He was rooted for the first goal and completely f*cked up for the second. His distribution was f***ing awful; he kicked it out of play about 7 or 8 times.

And Gervinho an 8 too?? You f*cking serious? I just saw him miss our best chance in the first half, run into players a few times and then run backwards every time he had the ball. He also made a pathetic attempt to stop Walker when Walker went off and scored. He was just as wank as Theo was.

This is the problem with Arsenal. Fans too easily satisfied with f***ing average players.
