I think we will go for a 4-4-2 in this game..

Width will be provided by Gerviniho and Walcott

Midfield will be Arteta and Song

Upfront it will be Chamakh and RVP..

I have a feeling that Gibbs will start this game ahead of Santos..

Szczesney

Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Santos

Song Rosicky

Arshavin Arteta Gervinho

RVP

Ramsey has been consistently below par this season .Rosicky should be given a go .

A goal scored does not give the perennially poor Chamakh, the license to start games for us .

Arteta should be our CAM behind RVP this season.

Koscielny's brain farts and lapses of concentration scare me . Too bad we have an
equally bad replacement in Djorou .Either way we are f*cked till Vermaelen comes back.

Arshavin has pleasantly surprised me with his enthusiasm and sharpness .

I'm not sure Gibbs and Chamakh will start this game because they already played in the CC game, I think Wenger wanted to rest his first 11 for this one. I think Wenger is going with basically the same lineup which started in the Blackburn game:
Szczesney
Sagna---Mertesacker---Koscielny---Santos
Song---Arteta/Ramsey
Arshavin/Walcott---Ramsey/Arteta---Gervinho
RVP

I know it's early on but surely we have the biggest point to prove and I would go as far as to say it's a must win game. If we fail to win this I can't see Europe for us.

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

Going to this game, hopefully we actually win. I also hope we play a 442, since apparently we played that against Shrewsbury, and Wenger hinted at it.

Szczesny
Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Santos
Walcott/Ox - Arteta - Song - Gervinho
Walcott/Park/Chamakh - van Persie

When did Wenger hint that Sims? I'm not knocking it, I'd just like to know... because otherwise you're getting my hopes up for nothing

I wouldn't pay any attention to the Shrewbury game, it was a CC game against a 4th division team that included a bench and half a starting team of youngsters/reserves. It's almost always a different approach, not just in personell but in tactics also.

That hint you talk of holds a lot more weight.
