Hopefully Wenger will mix it up if we get tougher opposition in the rounds to come, there would be no point putting a side like that out against stronger Premiership opposition.Well we would definitely want to name a strong bench unlike last night, imagine if we had gone two down last night (which easily could have happened) there wasn't much on the bench to help us turn it around.

Also I find it laughable that the papers focus on our attendance last night,we had 15,000 more fans than any other game and they show pictures of empty seats in the paper. Some journalists are f**king morons.....

Is it just me or were we playing the 4-4-2 with Park and Chemakh up front?

We were decent, enough for a side with new players who didn't play with each other before. Coquelin Yossi and Ox looked good, Chemakh is showing his headers lately, should have scored in this one too, Flappy show too much hesitation in the play when the ball hit the post.

thnx for highlights,

happy with the results.
we need to ditch this zonal marking at the back, seems to just give away space for people to attack into.
I agree each player should have an area to defend, but more importantly to stop anyone who comes into it, and your neighbouring areas, no point switching off if the ball goes into someone else's zone!

The only two (maybe three) let downs were Chamakh, Doodoo Djourou and Flappers. Flappers I expect to be rusty but Doodoo and Chmukh really need to pull their socks up or get the f**k out of the club.

Doodoo Djourou was schooled by League 2 players FFS. That's how f*cking atrocious he is.

Impact sub would be better, his pace and dribbling attributes would be excellent against tidied defence.

hear hear.liverpool had 22,000 against northampton[who knocked them out]last year. utd had 46,000 against premier league wolves last year .we got a bigger crowd last night than we have ever got against such low ranked opposition.
it may have been our lowest attendance at the emirates but that goes to show what fantastic support we recieve there.
in fact we only had 6 higher attendances at highbury in the league cup

Ox looks like he has a mean shot. I'd like to see bring him on mid-second half in some prem league games

There was some promising talent on display attacking wise with Ox looking like he was a shrewd buy, hopefully he's a far better prospect than foolcott.

Defence wise we were still just as loose and probably wouldn't have beaten a better side. I hope they're working extremely f***ing hard this week.
