But can't see AW spending over 10m on a temporary fix.

Wenger - "Gibbs is like a new signing"

That's the more likely result.

For Citeh:

Djourou Mert Kos Verm.

Maybe even for Villa as well as they have alot of threat down the wings with N'zogbia and Agbonglahor. I think Miquel can carry us through Wolves and QPR though, he should do fine with Vermaelen next to him, and Gibbs will be back after that. No chance of a loan for a LB though, Wenger will keep faith in the two youngsters Gibbs and Miquel.

Still another month or two I think. With the way we seem to rehab players its probably closer to 6 months.

Then Jan 13 Gibbs will be declared injured. he has not stayed fit for one month in his whole Arsenal career. If Wenger keeps faith with him, it will cost him his job as he will be gone when the team dont make the top 4. For me its a win win situation. i have serious doubt about Wengers desire at this stage and not buying left back will just confirm it once for all

That is the whole point. We have 4 CB's and have to play all 4 in every game because we have NO ONE else. NOBODY said the world had fallen in but we CANNOT afford another injury. You can be glib and sarcastic (without actually thinking things through) but many off our defenders are going to be out for quite a while. We have 6 games in 20 days and CANNOT REST ANY BLOODY DEFENDERS. Yes that is a f***ing problem.....
