Whenever I've watched him for Brazil he's never played well. I'd prefer to have Clichy if I was given the choice.

I would never! I just genuinely believe Heskey is the greatest English striker since Jeffers and I feel our performance tonight was due to the players missing Heskey after he retired from International football.

:rofll:

My girlfriend genuinely loves Heskey (it's a sympathy thing) and over the Deadline week whilst on Holiday in Majorca she read a post on Twitter about how we've agreed a fee with Villa for him and she went ballistic excited until I pointed out it was a wind up...

She was not happy...

Speaking of Heskey, on my PS2 (yes, PS2, don't take the piss and don't get distracted from my little funny story), I had PES (can't remember which one). Now I'm not one to save replays of all these greatest goals, taking on half a team, chipping it over the keeper, bouncing it off the cross bar then putting it in the net with a flying header. No! That's not my style!

In all the time I played that game, I only saved one replay... from the late great Heskey! Oh wait, he's still alive!

Anyway. I'm Hesky, I'm running into the box, I get to the 6 yard box and all of a sudden I fall over under no challenge whatsoever. The ball rolls on, the keeper dives and misses the ball, the ball then hits the post and comes back out to a Hesky that's still tumbling forward. The ball hits Hesky and deflects into the net!

This is not a joke. When he fell over all by himself I thought "only f**king Heskey!"

My PS2 should be back at my old place (if mummy hasn't thrown it out), next time I'm there I'll save a copy on my phone and upload it.

Don't care whats been said about him, he is an explosive LB who can finish and assist, if we are going to play this ridiculous system AW has implemented, we may as well have a liability who can actually add to our attack.
