maybe Wenger just doesn't like Asians? Did Inamoto ever end up getting a game for us?
look out Ryo :(

great goal!

this is maybe the strangest case at arsenal. why is he never playing? why is nobody asking wenger where this player is? I don't think its fair what wenger is doing with park. he can't be worst than chamakh. for this 2-3 games he played he did well IMO. he never really had the chance to show up!

Hey guys, new poster here. I've been a lurker for a while and was really happy when Park signed since I'm a big fan but the last year has been tough for me. It seems like the reason he hasn't played at all was because of some contractual dispute between Arsenal and Monaco which was resolved sometime in March (IIRC.....). Anyways, although I'm 99% sure he is leaving from the little info we get on Park from the Korean media, I thought I'd keep you guys in touch (if anyone is interested....) anyways. He played for around 70 minutes against New Zealand. He was very good and showed the flair and creativity he had been known for. However, not playing at all last year, he lacked strength and stamina. Anyways, here is the long highlight from the game. You'll see he is very involved all throughout the pitch although he was playing as the CF. He is number 9. Wish him luck in the Olympics and he'll be sold for a higher price! :) His next friendly is against Senegal on the 20th.

Thanks, I was wondering what we plan on doing with him. If that means Bendtner, Vela and Park are expected out, that's a fair bit of the wages cleared. We could easily bring in a striker with that combined savings to cash on hand for 12/13.

Sorry if I was being misleading but its more based on feeling than evidence. Park usually just doesn't talk to the media at all and even when he does, he gives very little actual info. When asked about plans with Arsenal, he just stated, "I don't want to think about Arsenal right now. I'm concentrating on the Olympics." But he seems extremely discontent from all the crap he got from Korea about the military and the lack of playing time in Arsenal. His agent also said back in the winter that if the situation persists, he will leave in the summer. So I just assume he is leaving.

Arsenal striker Park wanted by Al Hilal

striker Park Chu-young is wanted by Saudi outfit Al Hilal.

The South Korea international has been made available by the Gunners this summer.

Al Hilal are eager to close a deal for Park.
