Certainly he's at the very least better than Chamahk, cause I'm almost as good as Chamahk.

This guy is average at best, the only reason we are signing him is to get more interest in arsenal from fans in asia because he is one of there biggest stars. were have more tv coverage there porbaly and the shirt sells with his name on it will be sky high over there, but is it really worth it :snooty:

ever seen Park play?

Yes i have, not good enough for this club. Every striker we have in the team already is better than him.

lol, then you haven't seen him play

 I bet Wenger or Pat Rice would be more effective upfront comapred to that idiot.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's alredy signed but we're just waiting to get Metersacker and that Brazillian left-back so we can announce them all at once.

Aye... I'm sick of watching RVP step up to take a free-kick, for him to then smash it about 1000 yards high and wide.

no, but that doesn't make him a bad signing
and at 3 million, would you really expect him to be a big marquee signing?

We never sign those type of players that you're looking for though, so you shouldn't be surprised really.

Seriously, anyone who expected Tevez or Falcao was dreaming. Think this will prove a steal and was very intellegent signing, regardless of Bendtner because he will come hungry. Bendtner is not going to succeed here and is suffering from that realization I think. He doesn't have much motivation knowing he is behind VP and Chamakh in the pecking order and gets played out of position when he does play.

Rumour sites have people talking about a "marquee" signing in midfield.

We have to remember that we haven't got the spending power of Chelski and Citeh, so we can't buy proven internationals with goal scoring records of 5 goals per game... only to sit them on the bench and make them fight for a place!!!

You have to find particular players. Either clearly talented players from smaller clubs who are happy with the move up and ready to fight from the bench for their place, players of an experienced age that maybe out of favour at another top club, or younger players. Only at clubs with shit loads of cash will you see huge proven talents of an experienced training day in day out knowing that they might not even make the bench for the next game.

Wenger's always had an eye for obscure talent, especially attacking talent. So my bet is that Chu-Young will be a very decent signing, as will Santos. Add to that one (possibly two) CB's, maybe even a marquee midfield signing  and this transfer window will be one to shout about despite losing Nasri and our captain and best player.
