Almunia's my MOM for us... he's the only reason that scoreline wasn't 8 or more.

Even though they tore through us in the end, I rated the defenders high for their first half and then the first 20mins of the second... given we're a man down.

Top effort from them.

You're probably right...

I wasn't sure what to give him honestly. So I just opted for the "average".

I do think he was helpful defending. Most of their attack was from the right side all night. :dontknow:

Diaby was super again.

I loved how he was strolling around the pitch and either losing the ball or letting them just walk past him. Even Dean Nelson would've done better.

I think he probably would.

The back four, Almunia and Jack stood out for me.
The rest bottled it and were all as bad as each other.
I can barely separate them because they ALL gave the ball away too many times.

I only saw bits and pieces of the game so can't really comment on individual performances but from what I saw and heard the midfield severely let down the defence, it's usually the other way round but there you go. Also I know their first goal was almost entirely Cesc's fault but Clichy did play Messi onside... again. He seemed to do so 4 or 5 times in fact
