Excuse me?! Flappers all the way, Chesy CANT speak, keeps proving he has no communication with defenders like tonight and at WHU when JD was shielding the ball and Chesy stood there.

With him in the team we're no longer that team that's afraid of crosses, corners and freekicks!

How long have I been saying we need HEIGHT at the back?

First I've heard mate...

I don't think its his height which makes him a good headered of the ball, its his ability.

Vermaelen isn't big yet he can outjump someone a good 7'' taller than him, who was also jumping.

Height is not relative to aerial ability IMO, yes it helps but it is not the be all and end all.

I agree Shezza hasn't proved much yet.
I'm sure he will but as of now I feel safer with Fabianski in goal.

As for the other players I thought DJ was superb today, Jack was great, Cesc was relentless and committed and Bendy's finishing won us the game basically.
Without that first goal we wouldn't have scored the rest and if it was still 0-0 after 70 minutes it probably would've stayed like that. Everyone getting too desperate and rushing their shots etc.
People were already rushing them tbh.

Considering he was playing on the wing again which is a bit of a joke, I thought he did well, another perfect cross for RVP too.

Cahill and Owen always score with their heads... and they're midgets!!!

Djourou just gets in the right positions and doesn't let it bounce or try to control it. And fair point about Vermaelen, I'd like to know his success rate with headers, I'm sure it'll be impressive.

... while I'm on Vermaelen (not literally) my S**rs "friend" and I tried to name a Prem 11 today, he named Sagna, Vermaelen and Cesc without hesitation. I bet that hurt! I got out of naming Bale in mine by changing the formation and sticking with Nasri... no *** scum in my team thank you very match!!!

Not the first goal Bendy has scored like that either, it wasn't a fluke...

Just goes to show how much ability he has, how many other strikers like him can score like that?

Not wishing to dig on Chamakh but i don't think he is physically capable of scoring a goal like that tbh.

From what I've seen so far, no he isn't.
Apart from anything else he's different mentally. He would've passed from that position every, single, time.
