Little slack in the back, but not bad

Good showing from a few in the front...

All in all an average performance by most. Theo had another very good match though. Nice to see him threaten throughout the whole 90.

Would like to see more of that from Arshavin. He doesn't make it hard to mark him though does he?

Diaby did well, as did Fabregas in the second half.

Some surprisingly conflicting marks so far, and some quite low marks as well.....

I think we did well to escape from the grim North with all 3 points, and I thought 2nd half was a marked improvement from the team that certainly would have lost there last season.

Still, that's only my opinion, everyone else sees it differently.

Like I've said before... from me you will see ratings in the 5-7 range almost exclusively. I don't do 8+ hardly ever.

But 8 is only "great", it isn't "outstanding" or "amazing". I don't think it is rare for our players to have great games, that is why we have been a top 4 team for so long.

It seems different people have different ways of rating players, and thats to be expected, but I think it all equals out in the end and we usually get some pretty accurate results.

Looking at the highlights again I noticed that Sagna had a good game.
His crossing is improving and his cutbacks are getting more accurate.
Set up Diaby's goal against Blackpool and indirectly Arshavin's against Blackburn.

^^^^

What he said.

And as long as everybody that is rating now continues to do so throughout the year it will work out in the end.

Maybe I have higher expectations. And I'll give out 8's on occasion. I've already given some 7.5's
