Eurovision song contest

Debate about anything going on in the world. Please remember, everyone has their own opinion.

Yep her voice is amazing but the song was cheesy rubbish.

I am glad it was more about the song this year, apart from Turkey (which we all agreed was the worst song of the night, can't believe UK gave it 12) the top 6 were the best songs.

I voted for Iceland in the end. I liked the Norway song but no way was it nearly 400 points good.

I take back what i said about Norton, he played it straight and didn't try to be funny so he put in a good performance. I laughed when i saw Duncan James as our points presenter, lol.

We finished 5th in the end, so I'm happy with that :)

Same here, but the point i think is that he was good because he didn't try and be funny. Which is actually not that great when you consider he is supposed to be a comedy presenter.

Definately, we can all be proud of our effort tonight. We may have got more points than some of the years we won tonight.

This is the biggest pile of shit ever in the qualifiers for this year.

Every artist is awful beyond words, the BBC should be shut down for allowing this.

Isn't this thing just a way of the rest of Europe telling us how much they hate us and to go suck one?

The voting is not remotely political. Not one bit. Its purely on tallent.

I usually make sure I'm home for the eurovision. I agree it's a big pile of political crap - it's so obvious who's going to vote for who - but leading the sad little life that I do I usually spend most of the time on the phone to my friend discussing how awful so-and-so's costume is, or voice is or taking bets on who's going to win.
If we were organised enough we'd actually spend the evening together then it wouldn't cost us so much in phone bills lol
Not interested in any of the build up - only in the evening itself and good old Terry W makes it for me. Hope he does it this year.

I remember years ago it would be everywhere that it's coming soon.

This is the first I've heard about it this year!

It's really big in Australia for some reason... no idea why, bores the f**k out of me. One act per year is entertaining if you're lucky.

Having said that, this shit is quality

So camp it makes Liberace look like a redneck.
