Drug testing in schools?

Postby Trina » Tue Apr 24, 2007 8:20 pm

I took this from another source and thought it would make a good debate topic

"I have read about some high schools, having breath censors and other drug testings on students.
It was about having drug tests done before a school dance, and before sport practices, games, etc.

What do you guys think?
Should high schools start having drug tests for sports and other school activities?"

Our whole ice hockey team would fail then. :P

But I live in Canada so it's all good.

I saw my mate, the other day.
He said to me, he's seen the white Pele.
So I ask, who is he?
He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney

Introducing drug tests to those kids between the ages of 14-17 isn't going to solve anything short term, it would just give us an idea of how many more prisons we need to bang up, for when the c*nts turn 18.

i go to high school who used to be full of drug addicts it stunk up the school and it was awfull for us. yes they should be introduced so that the drug takers can be caught and dealt with and recive help because from looking at people in my school they dont look like they'll give up any time soon

Send a letter to Osama bin Laden c/o Al-Qaeda, I'm sure they have some new concoctions they are waiting to test.

Think it's a terrible idea personally. I for one have experimented with many different types of drugs on many different occasions and have still managed to find my way into a top 10 uni doing a good degree. Experimenting with drugs is part of growing up in many cases and is just a way to assert some individuality and experiments in living...the art of life!

Drugs testing in school is just another means of checking up on people. Not for me thanks!
