The Spanish and animals

Postby Gooner G » Sun Jul 10, 2016 10:30 am

The Spanish treat animals atrociously and now a matador has been gored to death on live TV. I hate see magnificent creatures like bulls just taunted, with spear hanging from them and blood coating their fur. How can anyone get anything from either bullfighting it or watching it is beyond me.

I forget which one, could be both, but Theresa may / Andrea leadsom are in favour of bringing back fox hunting so we probably shouldn't be speaking too soon just yet.

Anyone who takes part in/enjoys these inhumane spectacles is a savage. No sympathy from me.

Almost every culture has something shocking like this. Can't believe these things still exist in 2016

It was self defence

Good on the bull

It was a bullfight. I guess the bull won.

What's his reward?

Always thought high levels of economic development would let people focus on personal happiness instead of sticking to stupid, outdated traditions. Guess not.

Mess with the bull and you might get impaled by its horns. Or something like that.

The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, hence the latter's existence in 2016
