They're literally trying to ride this out for as long as possible, Brexit is bigger than just our politics, Parliament don't want to leave and that is that.

Im guessing youve never actually met a grass routes member of the conservative party

Theyll be frigging their dried up old boxes like theres no tomorrow over Boris being PM

Hahaha - Corbyn only reached the threshold to get on the 2016 ballot by rigging the MP's vote when Owen Smith challenged him - Labour had to quickly change the rules to say that Corbyn did not need to reach the 20% nomination threshold as, and here's the fix they invented, they decided a serving leader no longer needs renominating (democratic my arse) ... Why? because he may well have failed to get even 20% ....

Scared the shit out of Momentum who have now reduced the requirement to 10% .... so even when 89% of elected MP's think you're unfit to rule the Labour party, don't worry un-elected by Labour members the Socialist Societies and Union Bosses will get you through .... and they say the Tory system sucks?

But hey rigging elections to reduce their own voters' input, that's all OK when you're all about "power to the people" morons and hypocrites the world is just full of them.

Gotta luv the moronic generalizations ... it's not even Kindergarten level ... basement dwellers will be trolls I guess

Average age of a Tory party member 57 - Average age of a Labour party member 53 ... four year's difference, which is about the same as some poster's mental age ...

Percentage of Tory party members who are women 29%

So the offensive sexist ageist bollocks was all lies ... what a surprise

There's plain stupid, and then there's super stupid .... think we can all spot the super stupid one today ..... no names of course - but arsehole is a big clue.

Bet the daft un-named prat can't resist a reply .... worm on a hook

Haven't you choked to death on Tory cock yet?

Or you been too busy using your x-ray specs to look through the ignore filter that you supposedly put me on?

By the way, nice try at the trademark bullshit stats but

Tory members are also older than the members of most other parties. True, their average age may "only" be 57, but this disguises the fact that four out of 10 are over 65

Whats surprising is, after looking at more information im not only right, but the lack of representation doesn't stop with age. 86 per cent are considered well off, 97 per cent are white and the vast majority live in the south east

More elderly men than elderly women though

So stop crying over the truth

Why does it matter what age or colour someone is (especially arguing about it) ......... all that matters is how they vote.

I'd agree that I'd expect most of the Tory grass roots to vote for Boris but we'll see, we don't even know if the MP's will get him through to the final 2 yet, I suspect scheming by the Remain and Fake Leave Con's will do their best to keep him from being selected.

I personally want Boris.

He's the only Leave MP who's likely to win ............ as I said, I want Leave to either succeed in showing us how it can be done or fall on their swords and fail, then we can see what our real options are and get this over and done with.

Remainer's scheming to not give Leave the floor is what's causing the issues and building the resentment, let Leave fkin speak and take the lead (on their referendum result) then and only then will they be exposed if they're talking BS.

It started in reaction to a post you made

The right wing mafia started sobbing their hearts out over a pretty accurate observation

Let Boris have it, I dont care. Hes toxic. He'll become the Tories very own Corbyn. Bring it on.

Spot on - the out there lefties are starting to realise they've been found out - resorting to the tried and trusted tactics of abuse and inaccuracy, that's the final stage before defeat ...

Then the mad old grannies make the final decision - A few thousand urine soaked racist old biddies are going to pick our next PM

What's truly sad is that when the actual numbers are pointed out - average age 57 - 70% Male - the daft idiots keep digging the hole.

Truth is Remainers are getting desperate, Corbyn wisely won't get in the fight, and Boris (or some other clone) will get Brexit done ....

No doubt we will see a lot of abuse, childish wailing, gnashing of teeth, and more outright lies but in the end the result of the referendum will finally be upheld. Let's hope it's a Deal but if not so what ... as always the UK will endure ...

Lol EK quoting me but refusing to respond to me because he knows ive rumbled his BS

Dishonest spin as per usual

...................................................... ..

Theres a wider issue here.

86 per cent well off

40 per cent over the age of 65

Vast majority in the south east and east

97 per cent white

The reason this matters is not necessarily the election inself but, more generally, what does this tell us about the priorities of the Tories?

For example, are their pension policies going to be fair to the whole population or have they got one eye on their core, disproportionately elderly, power base?

Fella - you are falling into the trap of being divided by utter nonsense.
Tory this, labour that, remain this, leave that. It's all BS.

Simply put, the majority of the people who took the time to vote, voted to leave the EU. Every single person in this country should be aligned to that. Those that are not are really on the wrong side of the debate.

I don't particularly like Boris, but at least he seems clear that we need to be leave the EU and honour the referendum.

Used to agree with you re respecting the referendum result. I don't anymore because ive seen absolutely NOTHING positive come out of whats happened so far

Thete are NO positive outcomes to look forward to from Brexit. Only negative

I would also remind you that Nigel Farage doesn't respect the referendum result. Before the vote he said if he lost by 2pc he would carry on campaigning and, demand another referendum

Stands to reason he must agree with a rerun because remain lost by 2pc
