Cancer - Is there a cure?

Debate about anything going on in the world. Please remember, everyone has their own opinion.

I wonder if the question should be, is enough being done?

Good questions Chris. I don't read online about it much. But surely there must be a site that shows where the money for cancer research goes and the conclusions in testing?

I have no doubt there will be a cure for cancer eventually. Probably not in our lifetimes unfortunately.

Can see a zombie invasion happening in the mean time as scientists try to find the cure and inject animals or whatever.

Doubt there's a cure yet but I don't doubt that there has been efforts from pharmaceutical companies to slow down efforts to fund one.

I bet after all the expensive research, they find out it can be cured by something very simple.

f**k Jobs. He had a rare and curable case of pancreatic cancer and he decided he was holier than traditional treatment.

He also bought residence in another state just so he could jump the queue on the donation registry and bump everyone on the list down and wasted a good liver that may have saved someone else . What a f***ing fucktard.

My uncle is dieing of cancer at the moment. Just like anyone I know several people who've had it. Some survived, some didn't.

I wonder, if we cure cancer, what are people going to die from? It's difficult to accept when someone dies young, but most people who get cancer are old.

With no prostate cancer killing off old guys for example, the population would rocket. You think immigration is a problem? Good luck when the UK population is 80 Million because people are routinely living to 100. All those people will need home carers or care home places by the way, plus a pension for 35 years or so, so income tax on those working will have to go up a lot.

the planet is already over crowded you really think they want to cure everything?

there will be a cure for cancer wen we figure out how to populate other planets.. not sooner.

Can't know for sure. But trust no one when money is involved. People sell heroin, crack, arms to kill in wars all for a note.

Read a lot of stuff especially in America they push for drugs when people don't really need it

I don't think there is a single universal cure; if there were then no wealthy person would ever perish from the disease - but they do.
