I know we had a similar thread going for the past couple of years but with the election less than a month away I feel it's a good time to have a new thread to discuss the election. Who are you planning on voting for?

For me, I'm torn between Labour and the Lib Dems but will most likely vote for the former as they have a far better chance of winning in my constituency. I considered the Greens for the while but Bennett doesn't convince me at all and some of their policies seem a bit barmy. Given that their is highly unlikely to be a majority government I'm most hoping for a Lib/ Lab coalition.

UKIP

The Tories stab their core support in the back, Labour are financially inept, the LibDems are liars and the Greens are a bunch of hippie crackpots.

Still haven't decided between Lib Dems and Labour. I support Labour's policies on workers rights and Lib Dem policies on civil rights and remaining in the EU.

Conservatives hate the poor. How they can parade about with Bullington Dave as their leader and claim to be the party of working people is beyond me.

UKIP is for frothy mouthed haters.

From my minor political knowledge and what I've gathered it seems as if this could be the easiest election to win ever, but every party is run by a complete and utter moron

If Labour lose it it's their fault for choosing Ed Miliband. If their leader was David Miliband or Andy Burnham they would win easily.

Even Red Ken said he couldn't cut travelcard costs because apparently it requires the train companies agreement.

I definitely agree that Labour could be looking at a majority win had they managed the past few years better but Ed Miliband does seem to be turning the tide a bit with regards to the public's opinion of him. I know I have certainly warmed to him a lot over the past few weeks and as our only other alternative for PM is David Cameron I'll be rooting for Ed come May.

Labour's biggest issue is the rise of the SNP which have taken so much of their support north of the border. I think we'll likely see a Lab/SNP coalition as Labour almost certainly won't win a majority and it's looking unlikely that the Lib Dems will even win enough seats to prop up either Labour or the Tories.
