last time was the first black dude
this time its the first woman
next time it'll be the first gay person
then it'll be won by the great great super great grandson of a former slave freed by lincoln

maybe by 2050 everyone will feel equal enough and we can have a normal vote.

Basically the system is going to be "if you don't vote Hillary, you're sexist" as it was last time. However if Carson wins the Republican nomination he'll win since last time proved, race card beats gender card.

Romney lost because he's a f*cking nutcase, not because Obama is black.

Will Hillary not damage Democratic party chances? A lot of people seem to hate her big time so could she end up losing middle ground support as a result?

As for the Republicans it usually ends up being a case of just hope it's not someone who's too mad. I presume this time will be no different.

Romney is a woman is he? I was referring to the Democratic Primary of 2008.

I hate our political system so much...

I thought we weren't meant to be a monarchy? Or an Oligarchy... I'm in my mid 30's and have lived the majority of my life under 2 families. So f***ked up...

It's ridiculous. Like people clinging to a brand name. Shows how simple a lot of people are.

Give it to Hillary.

Even if only to see what the duties of a first gentleman are, and to see Bill playing the role of the dutiful husband on the biggest stage.

And for a Husband and wife to both have a go at presidency, thats House of Cards type stuff there.Frank and Claire would be proud.

There will be a lot more than the percentage of women who have voted in the past. Same thing for African-Americans in 2008 and 2012. Shame my country is so superficial when it comes to these things. I welcome the day when people vote for a candidate because they're the best and not because of a physical quality, although Obama has done way better than McCain and Romney would have done.

But to directly answer your question, 63.7% of eligible women voters voted in the 2012 Presidential Election.

Would be the same in most countries tbh. Western ones anyway.
