That's what I assumed lol

And you'll be happy to know Warren loves the Yellen pick.

As the results came in and we got to about an hr before they closed up for the night, the entire world thought Trump was going to win.
Then all hell started to break loose with reports of districts with backlogs and eventually the counting being stopped.

Too far in what sense?

Here are Bernie's policies, in brief:

- Medicare for all (SOSHALIZM!)
- Workplace democracy and rights for workers
- Tuition-free college
- Green New Deal
- Social Security Expansion
- The Affordable Home scheme to end homelessness and make housing affordable to all
- Justice system reform and a proposed Prisoner Bill of Rights
- Women empowerment
- LGBTIQ+ rights
- Bolstering public education
- High speed internet for all (COMMUNISM!)*
- Racial justice
- Fair banking
- Free childcare
- Taxing the extremely wealthy

How is any of this going too far?

* Net Neutrality is dying a slow death on the watch of neoliberals.

That's a wish list not a policy document - not even close to being the same thing.

https://joebiden.com/joes-vision/#

These were his so called 'visions' during the campaign, however without the Senate virtually none of these visions will be possible. If he appoints Janet Yellen to the treasury that's a sure sign he's following John Maynard Keynes, that's an interesting move because Keynesian Economics requires low inflation and low taxes to support the multiplier effect ... hmmm is that what Biden has been preaching?

Despite the view that Keynesian Economics are somehow the domain of liberals, both Bush and Reagan applied a lot of his theories.

It will be an interesting four/eight years - taking the USA back to better times? maybe ....

Off the top my head:

3) Forgiving ALL student loan and free college for everyone

You make no sense.
If you were confident that late votes would come in for Biden then you would not have been panicking and touting Trump as the favourite.
You, like everyone else, thought Trump was in the driving seat.
The mail in votes were counted in batches, not at the end. In PA Biden got off to a massive early lead of hundreds of thousands and was clawed back to the extent Trump was miles ahead. Then the counting stopped. In AZ all the mail-in votes were counted first.

The thread clearly spells out what people were saying and how they were feeling as the night progressed.
Don't for a second try to pretend that you thought Biden was going to win 30 minutes to an hour before the counting stopped.

Whether you like it or not, Trump has a valid and reasonable reason to question the results.
I personally doubt that he has a case, but that does not change the fact that what he is doing is entirely reasonable.
The process is playing out exactly as it should if there is a suspicion of voter fraud or election rigging.

I agree with you tbf.

What some like Jedi say "can't be done" for e.g free tuition.

For someone who's supposedly Far Left, to say Bernie goes "Too far" when most of what Bernie wants is already a reality across Europe to some degree or another.

France - Free Child care

Germany - Workplace democracy and rights for workers

England and practically the whole of Europe bar Switzerland - Medicare for all / NHS / Free Health care.

Free Tuition - College is free in the UK and all education is free in some countries, University is free or very cheap in Slovenia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France and the Czech Republic.

It's not that it can't be done. It's that it shouldn't be done.

Why would you use taxpayer money to subsidize rich people going to college? If you're well off and you can afford to pay for college, you should. How about you deal with the 500k homeless people first?

It can be a stimulus for the economy, but the effects are medium / long term. Just as governments are keen to encourage immigrants with certain skills, the same can be achieved by paying university fees, if it is done with enough forward planning.

In the UK when free university places were at their peak, I think we got it wrong. All degree courses were treated equally. Instead you should look at what skills the country needs, and offer only relevant degrees free of charge. In return, the student agrees to use those skills in the UK, post qualification, for X number of years. (So the debt is owed but only on paper, and is written off after the agreed number of years of relevant work.) A similar system is already in place for teachers of certain subjects.

What??

In your preference then the only people hurt are poor people, the very people who if smart enough deserve to go and who need the help.
Rich people are going regardless because they can afford it.

The whole purpose is to improve social mobility where as you wouldn't do fk all to help it, proving your just a sheep, slogan screamer who doesn't actually put any thought in.

What you should of said is if any students have parents with a wage of 100k total (depending on where they live) then they have to pay.

Your way is simply status quo leaving rich people with all the opportunity........well done liberal, very progressive.

This is one of those rare occasions that I agree with Bernie Sanders - partially.
Tax payer funded college for all... BUT one huge caveat.
Only the most talented should go to college and there should be about 5% of the courses currently available. Get rid of all the nonsense degrees and tax payer fund the education of talented people who will fill up highly skilled professional jobs that will better the whole of society and advance the nation.

Voter fraud hearings going on at the moment in PA - pretty incredible stuff being discussed.
Witnesses and data presentations.
Chain of custody of ballots and also the fact that any audit information has been destroyed (now there is no way of checking for sure) seem to be big red flags.
Eye witnesses also say several USB loads of data to the voting machines (24 times) took place.
PA didn't follow it's own rules

A judge has blocked certification of election results in PA and all other outstanding districts /states
