Can you imagine their convo's?

"What name should we have ISIS makes us sound like a Boy band?"

It's hard to take ISIS serious when they are named after a company who makes TV's. Maybe they realised.

You had, and still have, people who excuse the actions of the Nazis. Oh, Germany was hard done by after WW1, etc etc. Ultimately they slaughtered around eight million people and attempted to kill millions more.

Only total condemnation is acceptable. ISIS are fascist scum just like the Nazis were.

If the Nazis won, the world would be a better place today.

*Not that I agree with it.

Yeah and that. Just shows breathtaking ignorance of what the Nazis were all about and what their post-war plans were.

And some just deny it altogether.

Again though as I'm a bit of a history buff I learned quite a bit about the Nazi's and the reasons behind their inception and philosophy is quite fascinating.

Its not all what people think it is on the surface.

^It doesn't matter about the reasons behind anything when what they are doing to achieve it is mass, cold blooded murder. As interesting as it may be.

On the ISIS front..

If it is just 13 minutes away, I expect they must have a very strong defensive setup. Isis will surely attack soon..

The White House as already proposed declaring war.

But honestly, who gives a f**k any more? We've been in a perpetual war with "Terror" for the last 15 years and will be for eternity. Why do we need a special declaration for ISIS?

On the contrary if you are objectively studying history finding out the true reasons behind big events in history then its exactly the point.

Your looking at it from a moral perspective, that's fine, I'm talking about it from a knowledge perspective.

If your happy to believe / accept the Wests propaganda view point of Allies vs the Nazis like the cartoons in the middle of the Sun Newspaper then by all means that is the extent of your understanding which is nil.

If I were to ask you for example why did the Nazis particularly target Jews, your answer would be "They're racist white folk" ok great, I'd actually like to know how a phenomena such as the Nazi party was able to exist and take over a whole country and why it formed in the first place.

The answers as I said are fascinating and are a bigger picture than you would ever conceive in your life time especially if your going to sit and accept a very Cowboys vs Indians view on world events.

I'm not blaming you for it, it takes a certain amount of effort to actually be enlightened further than the back pages of the Daily Mail.

There could be nothing less knowledgeable than a person I barely interacted with in my entire life answering a question as if he was inside my mind.

No offence, fellow gooner.. I don't want to get into a serious argument or anything like that.. but seriously, you couldn't be more wrong and it is ridiculous that you actually think you could answer a question for me as if that is what I would say. At the very least, you are stereotyping.

On another note, as I thought.. ISIS attacked! http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 46082.html
