Ched Evans, rehabilitation of criminals etc

Debate about anything going on in the world. Please remember, everyone has their own opinion.

Fleetwood or Gateshead have decent money don't they? Could suffer the potential financial suffering from the backlash where as a bunch of other teams probably can't afford the risk.

Any other clubs down there got a bit of money and could give him a go? Fans would eventually get over it when he's scoring dem goals, they have with Hughes. A club could come out and make a point here tbh, that they believe in the system of rehabilitation regardless of him being subsequently found innocent or not. He has obviously been deemed fit to return to society, time society accepted that.

I'm overly buzzing about this :goal1:
Follow me on twitter @JordanLovesey!

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

Now that society hasn't completely ostracized him, I can go back to not caring about him.

Pretty much lol, hopefully he can settle in and have a life now. Couldn't care less aside from wanting what I viewed as 'the right thing' to happen. Now it has, aside from a late collapse by Oldham, i'm good.

Great stuff for him and his missus. I never took any interest in this but having read it all I feel really sorry for this guy in a way.

How is this floozy deemed not responsible for her own actions in any way? Im not saying for a second here that Evans is a saint he left out a fire exit ffs.

Hope he goes on to score many times for Oldham.

No doubt he will. Have you been to Oldham? He needs to keep it in his shorts.

lol

I just read that Evans scored 35 times on the pitch in his last full season for Sheffield United.

No brainer from Oldham, this is a brave but smart move, all this will blow over soon enough and Evans will surely fire them to the Championship this season or next for them being loyal to him, im pretty sure hell return that loyalty.

Yeah he was on fire. Sheff United had nobody to score goals when he went to prison. f***ked up their auto promotion then lost in the play off final to Huddersfield.

Well done Oldham. Showing they will not be bullied by the feminists and non-football fans by allowing him a chance to restart his career and reintegrate into society.

Doesn't make any sense when yesterday the chairman said it was basically down to some formalities.

Would be surprised.

Seems the struggle goes on..

As a young kid with aspirations of becoming a footballer, Evans probably used to dream of his face being plastered all over the pages of British newspapers and Sky Sports news..he has at least achieved that in his career if little else.
