I'm sure if you did some research on the matter you would soon find out.

Oh wow... so very clearly stupid then. You're embarrassing yourself mate, you have absolutely no idea of what communism actually is.

Like i said earlier, each to their own. I have no interest in trying to educate you on my opinion. Although if you wanted to read up on the the make-up of the EU i think you'd be surprised. Don't be getting fresh and or coming back hard at me bro, i shan't be drawn into an argument.

Back on topic

I think the 2015 election will be a labour win, that pretty much a certainty. The big question is whether they gain a majority to form a strong government, of that im not so sure. Im just hoping UKIP get a handful of MP's, the way its going i cant see that being an unrealistic dream.

It's not a matter of opinion though, it's a matter of fact. Saying the EU is communist is like saying 1+1=3. If you say it is, then you don't know what you're talking about.

In my opinion the EU has communist undertones,[EDIT] tenancies, ambitions etc.

Their not 100% anything, of course their not. Their a mix of everything from socialist to federalist and yes also communist. So yes the EU isn't the new Soviet Union but it can be argued that they still act as a communists body.

The EU is closer to socialist, or aspires to be. But there's a big difference between that and communism

In 1914 the communist split, socialists split into Bolsheviks (communists) and Mensheviks (socialists)

Socialism and communism are alike in that both are systems of production for use based on public ownership of the means of production and centralized planning. Socialism grows directly out of capitalism; it is the first form of the new society. Communism is a further development or "higher stage" of socialism.

Please keep the debate civil, and refrain from name calling. No need to call people stupid if you don't agree. Thanks.

The thing that I noticed is that all the symbols are of faiths apart from the hammer and sickle. I do wonder why they would stick a political symbol in the middle of a number of religious symbols.

I found that weird too.

The hammer and sickle is as, if not more horrific than swastika was. There were more people put to death under communist regimes than by any other political force in the history of mankind. You think the EU would have been sensitive to this, obviously not.
