Hitler and Thatcher don't belong in the same sentence though.

No she doesnt belong in the same breath as Hitler, but....

And its a big but, she did caurse deaths and that shouldnt be ignored. During the miners strike people were actually murdered. It wasnt just bad words and political differences. There was very serious violence as a direct result of he decisions. Just a few years back a bloke got blown away on his doorstep by another bloke. Turned out they had hated each other for years because one was a "scab" and the other a striker.

Then theres the riots in Brixton, Tottenham, Liverpool, Birmingham etc

You can't blame Thatcher because one man wanted to do his job and got shot because he did. What about that taxi driver who was murdered by those strikers for daring to take a miner to do his job? I'd say the miners are worse from their actions.

Oh so now it's our fault?

I'd say you're worse if I'm honest.

All depends on how she effected your life. One or two generations of your family on the dole is not just one or two generations on the dole. Going from earning a healthy living to having f**k-all with no prospects, to having your community destroyed... people are still feeling the effects more than 20 years later.

That was what I was implying btw. Not comparing Hitler and Thatcher.

The country as a whole was already a run down mess before she even got into power. Granted there were some decisions she has made which have had a long standing negative affect but if you look at the bigger picture, FTSE price, % of home owners it could be argued that she left the country in a better state than she received it.

Lets not forget manufacturing was already on the decline from the previous labour government leading up to 1979. Not lot of people know that but its true.

We all know that there are going to be a bunch of left wingers there who will just be there to cause trouble. It's just this type of situation where you do feel that it is going to be not if there is trouble, but when. The police have to clamp down hard and just arrest anyone showing a whiff of dissent.

Part of me hopes she does get some abuse so we can unmask them idiotic lefties for what they really are, the bain of our society. Dirty idiotic scum bag socialists, they make me sick.

I doubt it will kick off as in riots. I think there will be celebrations in pockets of the UK.

Will do boss but it needed toning down pages and pages ago tbf. With a lack of respect for the dead, paedophiles, Hitler being argued over. I don't apologise for calling lefties and socialist idiots because they are. But i will keep my language tepid.

Can I ask you why you feel that way? (Not trying to cause an argument or anything, just interested.)
