I don't even understand why the religious folk are so against gay marriage, but willing to "tolerate" them being couples. As far as I know, the Bible doesn't say anything about same sex marriage.
It just seems like a way for them to discriminate without looking like they're discriminating.

I guess I just realized that he is the first American President to endorse this. He may very well just being saying it to get votes, but at least he said it.

And I love the hypocrisy behind the change from Obama being against, and voting against gay marriage in the past, well that's called "evolving" his opinion and it's a good thing. But, when Romney changes the way he votes and hasn't voted the same way his whole career, that's flipping on the issue and that's a bad thing!

I think it could go both ways, he may just be betting on it going his way. Most of the people that would vote for him probably already agree, he may just be trying to get the ones on the fence too.
