Smoking ban doesnt even work so why try this, whats the difference between someone smoking in a public place near me and someone standing on the door entrance having a cig that i walk by to get into the pub or building? both times id of passive smoked.

Why don't they just cut to the chase and just make smoking illegal, cause that's where it seems like its heading..........and then just legalize weed instead. ;)

Why would me smoking put the driver off?

They may as well say you can't talk in a car as it could put the driver off.

Actually I was referring more toward people who smoke while driving than passengers.

I sometimes wonder if we'll look back in 50 years time when smoking is completely banned everywhere in the world and say "Does anyone remember smoking? We used to set fire to some leaves and then breathe that shit in, what the f**k were we thinking?"

The country would go down quicker than Greece if it wasn't for the tax on smokes. ;)

I think we'll get by with the tax on petrol.

I thought the law was aimed at the driver rather than the passenger?

Not sure, my sister was on about not being able to and she doesn't drive so I was guessing it's all together.

Car drivers are stuck in traffic more often than not, there's plenty of occasions when you can spark up safely while driving. Bikers are far more dangerous with their weaving in and out of traffic, squeezing through ridiculous gaps and cutting you up constantly. Nevermind driving on pavements to avoid a 1 minute wait or trying to cut infront of drivers who are waiting to take their turn off in stationary traffic! Their worse than those twunt pedestrians that ignore traffic light signals and run across the road across on coming traffic, then have the cheek to have a go if it was a close call!!

Bot, if you can't control a car while having a fag on, you shouldnt be driving in any case!!!!

This will lead to even more irritable drivers on the road.
