Well... Was told by the Jobcentre today [Yes, I'm on the dole. I AM NOT Proud] that if I don't start looking for & accepting offers of, jobs in the London area, I'll be signed off.

So looks like my gf's going to have to wait a while longer anyways.

Have you looked into agency work (care industry)? Mostly they will accept anyone and you can pretty much choose what hours you work.

Which would be good for your acting, I suppose.
