Last Match at Ali Sami Yen

Postby kloroplast » Tue Jan 11, 2011 11:51 pm

Galatasaray play their last match at Ali Sami Yen Stadium. They have a new stadium which name's Türk Telekom Arena.

What do you think about Ali Sami Yen ? Anyone ever go ?

Never been myself. I doubt the Galatasaray fans will have as much trouble making the next ground a fortress as we have. (starman, don't slag me off about not being a bigger voice please... I'm a loud mutha f**ker!)

Anyway... Welcome kloroplast!

For me it isn't good signing because i know Almunia  but other people have two idea one of group says it will be good and other group says he's too old. We have a problem with goalkeepers for long years and so it's critical decision for us.

My english isn't good enough forgive me for this :/.

Sory but I said ı have a problem with my english :D.

I'm very unhappy because I have a lot of memory at Ali Sami Yen but on the other hand I'm very happy because we have been waiting for this stadium for long years. Last day was very memorable day for us. Ali Kırca who is the famous announcer in Turkey was read a poet when programme was ending. It didn't describe :/.

That sounds emotional. I don't think we had any deep poems when we left Highbury, if I remember correctly we had the who

If the decision was up to you would you stay or would you go?

Move is necessary for Galatasaray because ASY(Ali Sami Yen) is too small. 22500 seat but TT Arena have 52.000 seats and we lost a lot of money ticket. Our rival FB have a good stadium and they earn money and their finances better than Galatasaray. With this stadium we will improve our finance. May be I will be unhappy but I will choose TT Arena.

and may be you won't understand but this is the poet.
