Another question:

What is your own personal definition of love? (Please, no wiki or dictionary results...)

I don't think that could ever really be properly answered.

I've been with Jac for over ten years and the draw is still as strong if not stronger than ever, I couldn't contemplate life without her, so is that the answer?

Love is when you see a hot girl in a club/pub, you talk to her for awhile, end up taking her home, do the nasty and call her the next day. If you don't call her then its not love, and if you remember her name then its meant to be. :)

What an interesting question... For me money doesn't come into it but a man with drive who knows what he wants in life is far more attractive then a lazy bum. Looks do matter but so does personality - noone wants to be with someone who's unkind, stingy, selfish etc but I think on top of all that what really makes it true love is something more indefinable. You need all the above but on top of that there's some kind of indescribable longing to be with them, that you think about them all the time when they're not there, there's some kind of connection. Hard to explain and perhaps if you're married to someone for 20 years it does die down which is when the other stuff becomes so
important and also the connection that spending so
much time with someone can bring.

I've been married ten years, and it's stronger than ever.

How long have you been married Helen?
