Cinemas are rip offs

I find cinema;s bit stuffy and nice to have a drink. as Lilmo said there all near 2 hrs, wasnt Avatar 2 and a half?

Yeah it was a long one for sure, well over 2hrs for sure. That's all the more reason that I DON'T get a drink though. Because then I will surely have to get up during the movie.

I rarely go to the cinema any more. Well unless it's a film I really want to see. It costs as much for 2 people to go to the cinema as it is to go out on the piss. I would much rather sit at home and watch a film. I can have a beer and Lady Fab can have a glass of wine, I don't have to spend a feckin fortune on popcorn (seriously you have to take out a mortgage to buy popcorn and drinks at the flicks), plus I can pause it and go and have a pee, or more importantly a smoke....both kinds of smoke.

I get cinema tickets from work, so use them and just buy some popcorn and a drink

I would only be tempted to pay to watch a big action movie, as I can download most films and watch them via my xbox anyway

So that's over £20 for the seats alone, then she wants f***ing Ben N Jerry's and a Coke and whatnot...

the only reason to go cinema these days is to be alone with your other half, last couple of times i went it was just the 2 of us. Im not a fan of the cinema though, just have a great DVD collection.

That's what I thought til the missus bought us tickets for HP7 pt2 and I sat for over 2hrs in the regular seat (this is in a Vue)
