Peeps reckon US/UK led forces can just run up in there and set tings criss.
Brit forces should read up their history, should've known that place can't be tamed. Even before the Soviets tried a ting.

I never check the big debate thread...but it seems I have been missing out. I just posted this on another thread, but it's even more relevant here. I work for a foreign policy think tank in London and specialise in counterinsurgency and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq...but I run my own blog on the side called Military-Matters in which myself and two of my colleagues cover Afghanistan a lot as well as a range of other issues to do with strategy, foreign policy and defence.
