What should be done about Afghanistan?

Incedently Afghanistan has never been defeated, the territory is impossible to penetrate in places and most people do not realise the vast size of the country vertically aswell as geographically!

Nothing incidental to the well-informed.

Peeps reckon US/UK led forces can just run up in there and set tings criss.
Brit forces should read up their history, should've known that place can't be tamed. Even before the Soviets tried a ting.

I never check the big debate thread...but it seems I have been missing out. I just posted this on another thread, but it's even more relevant here.
