Justified retaliation or not initially what has been happening for months and months now is basically Ethnic cleansing Israel need to be held accountable for the atrocities, what they are doing right now is solidifying one peoples hatred for another for generations to come, it's going to take great people from both sides to ever rectify the hatred and those people are clearly not in this world anywhere currently.

The bombing of the hospital was illogical and indefensible. IDF say it was being used as a Hamas base. But they knew it was also.a legitimate hospital because they warned the doctors to evacuate. At which point their targets will also have fled, so what have Isreal actually achieved? Nothing except bombing a hospital.

I was actually accosted by a rabid pro Palestine crazy at a gig tonight. This silly little bald man with silly tattoos. Some bird he was with kept loudly trying to start a “from the river to the sea” chant in the crowd, and being completely ignored and eyes rolled at etc. After about the fourth time of this happening, I asked in a mild mannered way, “which river?”

That set off bald silly bollocks calling me ignorant, supporter of genocide, all sorts. I simply repeated, “which river precisely? Which sea?”

He didn’t have a clue. He kept ranting at me. He realised I wasn’t intimidated by him so got even angrier, trying to get in my face. I just stared impassively at him then slowly turned my back on him. A subtle insult without saying a word.

The reason I asked the question is that that phrase from the river to the sea has some seriously nasty baggage. If you’re going to use it, well you absolutely shouldn’t use it but if you do, at least know what you’re f***ing saying.

You may have mistaken what Trump was saying, He was saying that Gazans deserve far better and could have far better. The man is employing transactional politics because that is who he is. It is actually compassion not colonization. The Emirates are willing to fund it and oversee the process, so Arabs taking care of Arab issues seems pretty far from colonialism nor interventionism.

We can think outside the box or we can keep running the world into the dirt.

That simply isn’t born out in what he said. He was very clear. He wants the US to take it over and control it. That is stone cold colonialism. When the British took over India we built railways and made other improvements. But that doesn’t stop it from being colonialism.
