What do you expect when the Gov't are offering free money from our taxes?

Its a liberty, this Gov't for years has been way to liberal with our money, sending money abroad, offering welfare and NHS medical assistance to any and everyone.

I've even heard of some people from other countries coming here on holiday just so they could use our NHS.

We're the biggest mugs in Europe and its OUR Gov't who is to blame, no one else, not even the immigrants .......... if your going to give free money and medical assistance away what do you expect is going to happen?

Our Gov't and all the lot in Parliament are way passed due to get some stick but they don't care because Labour are a poor opposition.

Absolutely.

Poland and Hungary put up razor wire fences to keep them out.

We have coaches parked up near the beach ready to take them to a hotel.

You couldn't make it up.

If Priti Patel is a Home Secretary that's tough on illegal immigration we have to wonder what state we'd be in with one who's weak on it.

Tens of thousands every month.

Where will they live when the average waiting time for a four bedroom house in Hackney for example is 9-28 years? What school will their children attend when classrooms are at breaking point? What GP will they use when we are already at a point where nobody can get an appointment for days and weeks? Which hospitals will they use when the waiting lists are months long? Which dentist will they use when most have closed their doors on new NHS patients? Which public transport will they use when it's already full?

We need a halt on immigration except for specific instances where we have skills shortages.

Trump is now favourite to beat either Biden or Harris in the 2024 election.
Wow.
Just shows how badly the current administration has screwed up.
Latest polls show Biden way underwater in terms of his job approval overall and he's underwater on every single issue.

...it's October...2021. There are 37 months until the next presidential election. So much could happen in that time: Biden could die, Trump could die, we could be in the middle of WW3 with China, Earth could be annexed by a galactic empire. Polls/betting odds/fortune cookies/tea leaves/tarot cards/oracle bones are utterly meaningless now.

True. Though it could also get worse for the democrats. Probably will if they continue with the absolute shambles they are currently presiding over.

There is just 1 year to the midterms.

The democrats will need raise a lot more dead if they are going to keep the House.

Maricopa County, Arizona 2020 Election Audit.

When the subpoena came in to release election data for the audit, officials deleted some data off the servers and then hid it in an archive that they did not provide to the auditors. Apart from the timing of doing this as soon as they were subpoenaed being highly suspicious it is comedy gold watching these idiots trying to answer questions on what they did and why they did it.

Auditors : 'by order of subpoena send the data on the servers'

Response:
Election officials : delete data
Election Officials ..send partial data excluding the data you don't want to send to the auditors
also Election Officials : 'hey we complied with the subpoena because we sent the data on the servers'
:rofll:

If the Democrats lose control of the Senate or the House (or even both) at the midterms Biden will be a lame-duck president almost guaranteed to lose in 2024 ... he might not stand but Harris would have zero chance, dropping both of them would mean a new candidate, that's never a popular option.

Trump would not be the best Republican candidate - a more moderate candidate would wipe the floor - however it's hard to see just how the Republicans get away from Trump if they win the midterms under what will be seen as his leadership

Whilst all those things you list may happen, they probably won't ... even if we might like a couple of the options.

It's a lose / lose for the USA but that's on them for putting up bad candidate after bad candidate ... the tail is wagging the dog be that far left or far right ... change is needed but how?

I think if you take the sideshows and media storms out of it, Trump actually wasn't that bad in terms of administration or diplomacy.

It's pretty clear that the Dems will lose the Senate in the mid-terms and if the Republicans are able to give it a push, the House could go too.

That's what I meant really - after years of unrelenting lies, smears and propaganda peddled by the media on behalf of the Democrat party, it's not been enough to end Trump. That to me just shows how incompetent and transparently corrupt the Democrat party is. Even with all the media driving home their propaganda Goebbels style, they still can't convince the people Their only chance of hanging on to power is through election rigging now, but even that is getting more and more transparent and eventually, they are going to take a fall.

Liberals trying to cancel Russell Brand because he simply reported, truthfully, that a Hillary Clinton lawyer has been indicted for trying to plant Russian collusion evidence with the FBI.

More and more the liars and propagandists that pushed the complete lie and hoax about Russian collusion are revealing just how desperate and untrustworthy they are.

I wouldn't be so sure. The Tea Party wing of the GOP made a huge splash in the House in 2010 and almost took back the Senate, yet Obama beat Romney pretty solidly in 2012. Democrats got killed in both houses during the '94 midterms, yet Clinton comfortably won reelection in '96. Republicans did poorly in the '86 midterms, but Bush Sr. cruised to victory in '88 (granted, he wasn't the incumbent, but he was Reagan's VP). Same in 1970; Nixon was a "lame-duck" but absolutely destroyed McGovern in '72.

It'll mostly depend on how the electorate sees the economy and national security around August-September 2024. As much as I don't like it, a good chunk of Americans have short memories and are more of 'in the moment' thinkers.

Honestly, I'd love 2024 to be a matchup of Biden and Phil Scott (Vermont governor). He is currently the only Republican that would actually make me think twice as I'd love for the GOP to be dominated by Rockefeller Republicans and be a sane counterweight to Democrats (if they were the dominant wing of the GOP, then I'd probably be one tbh). But, Scott is waaaaaaay too liberal for the contemporary GOP national base.
