Yeah same here, has it nearly been a week or over a week? Either way seems like forever!!

As I said though, if there was a problem with the medical or didnt someone say permit?, surely the papers would of picked up on that. But still not a word!

And, from Wenger all we hear is concentrating on players staying before we buy.

They don't always pick up on that. I remember when John Arne Riise signed for Roma.

That took them ages to confirm/announce, almost a month I believe - Yet out here Liverpool/EPL fans knew he'd gone already to Roma and it was something to do with something in the paperwork but the Media didn't mention it once.

This.

Tim Payton has pretty much 'guaranteed Arsenal fans' of this very thing.

As if I remember correctly has the dude from The Times, when he said he didn't choose to AFC Pre-Season tour to go on for coverage.

Said he'd be back here with Bendtner, Eboue, Diaby and Gervinho.

If he's arriving tomorrow surely some pictures would have already been taken then And would he be announced and forced to stay here while his team mates and manager are on the other side of the world?

Arsenal’s bid to sign Lille forward Gervinho has hit a late hitch and will be delayed by at least a week due to VISA problems.

The Independent reports that the Ivory Coast international failed to secure a VISA as his paperwork was not in order, and is now back in France. The 24-year-old passed his medical last week but due to this last minute snag Arsene Wenger was unable to secure the deal in time for Gervinho to travel with his new team-mates for the Gunners Asian tour.

Wenger wanted to use the trip as a way for Gervinho to get to know his new team mates and get settled in the squad. It’s thought the paperwork issue is not serious enough to jeopardise the deal but it will take around a week to secure the VISA needed to finalise the transfer.

This was yesteday and it said it will take about a week ...
