Not writing him off, just think if we put to much pressure on the lad he might not measure up. Like i said you know by this stage when you've got a true gem i.e Cesc. He doesn't have that level of potential imho, still a good player though.

Because he hasn't got the technical ability to make it at a top club.

LOL how did Makelele (arguably one of the greatest Dm's of all time) make it with no techniqual ability then?

He did have technical ability though, clearly. His role was to sweep up and intercept cleanly whilst distributing after to someone like Guti. Frimpong just clatters the opposition in hope to get the ball rather than actual ability to tackle cleanly.
