He's just a more likeable Eastmond with strength.

Frimpong sidelined for three months

Postby Arsenal Tone » Fri Sep 14, 2012 4:10 pm

on Emmanuel Frimpong…
He is very close. He joins the squad again next week for complete, normal training. It is very good news because he is really fit and ready. He has worked very hard and we are amazed how good he looks at the moment.

Once he comes back he's going to have to work hard to improve his all-round game. I remember him being very slack with his passing on too many occassions last season. We don't have room in the team for an out and out destroyer. Our holding midfielder needs to be a good playmaker too, and Arteta's doing that job brilliantly at the moment.

Frimpong sidelined for three months

I find it funny that the week le coq makes a comment about wanting more playing time AW praises Frimps.

^^It's too obvious to overlook. Coquelin could very well be on the way out.

I haven't seen enough of Coquelin or Frimpong to know which one I prefer, and I'm quite sure that between them and Ramsey one of them will leave. I'm gnna have to trust Wenger's judgement on this, and for all those haters, you can trust Bouldy's ;)

I still think frimps will go back out on loan again, he's young and inexperienced enough to stay out of the main team at the moment, I just get the feeling that coq will be more useful than frimps at DM, he's more refined.

Plus, coq is a damn fine utility player, where as I'm assuming frimps ain't too handy anywhere else than the middle of the park.

Why do so many Arsenal fans looooove conspiracy theories?
Always looking to read between the lines to see what the REAL story is. Sometimes there is no back story, just boring old truth.

The reason he mentioned Frimpong in his press conference is because a journo asked him how all the injured players are coming along e.g. Jack, Sagna & Frimpong.
The reason he didn't mention Coquelin is because he's not injured. It's as simple and boring as that.

But no, he's definitely leaving.

Do you honestly think that AW is keeping Coq, Frimpong and Ramsey? We would struggle to find a place for 1 of them in the next 2 years, let alone 3

I actually cant stand Frimpong.

The sooner he gets over his 'DENCH BRO', hardman attitude the better as he's just a prick and really not as good as he thinks he is. I've no doubt he'll become a decent player eventually, but right now I think his heads far to big for his boots.

First of all Ramsey is not a DM like the other two and secondly we often have 3 DMs at the club at the same time.
Before Song left it was Song, Frimpong and Coquelin. Now that he's gone Arteta has been converted to DM so it's Arteta, Frimpong and Coquelin.
It's a very important position so why not have two players as back up? One can always play in the CC, in fact last time Frimpong and Coquelin played side by side and they were awesome against Man City.

Aww come on. That is not right. Saying that about one of your teams players. I understand that you cannot help the way you feel. But keep that to yourself.
