Not sure here. My only concern is that we'll probably need him for the entire 90 minutes and while he might impress for short spells, I doubt he will last the full game
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko

Yeah he will struggle to have the engine for an intense 90 minute workout

My concern for him is he might not be up to speed with our passing game, and might lose the ball too much. So if he starts along with Arsh and Theo (two known ball losers) then thats a recipe for disaster.

I predict Frimps will have Song's place by the end of the season.

Cause Song will be injured or because he'll be off too?

Cos frimps is ready and i think wenger will cash in on song at the end of the season - just like he replaced clichy with gibbs!

You obviously dont remember last pre season. He played 90 minutes twice in two days back to back and didnt look tired until the last ten of the second game! The boy is a machine, he has proper horse power in the engine, dont worry about that.

I'd be more concerned with him having to play against a resurgent Liverpool and the League Champions after only having 3 senior games.

Regarding his tendancy to go in strong, isnt that what we've all been begging for? Someone in the middle of the park who will not be bullied? Who's really going to out tonk him apart from Yaya?

Im not so worried about him if he can just sit, play a simple game and not be required to go forward too much, i dont think he'll have a problem. im more worried about the rest of the midfield tbh, Rosicky wasnt looking like setting the world alight and Rambo didnt seem to be becoming the creative outlet either. IF we had Jack in the AM position, id be more quietly confident.

Cant see this. Theres no need to have a fire sale next year unless people start bitching. Song dont seem the bitch type. RvP could be rightly pissed off, the last time he signed a contract extension, he was assured that there would be signings.

Be more worried about him.

I tell you what, this poll should be opened up for Jenkinson, Chamberlain and Campbell as well. With the injuries we have at the moment, these kids will have to play at some point. I know throwing them in at the deep end can work out at times, but that only really works with experience around them to pick them up.

Its so unfair of Wenger to put these boys into a position where the fans are expecting and getting pissed off with youngsters who will defo make mistakes against PL standard teams, because theres insufficient back up for them.

Cesc, Wilshire and Rooney are probably the only players i can remember who started making a proper impact from when they first got game time, why put undue pressure on them this early in their careers.

We all know how Walcott going to the WC turned out......

I guess im saying dont expect too much from the kids. Feel a bit sorry for Frimps already as he'll probably feel like he massively contributed to us losing if that happens and he shouldnt be in that position having to play in such a weakened midfield.

I really hope he has a good game, but i do expect some mistakes.

Frimpong is a hell of a lot better than Song was at 19. He's got all the attributes to succeed in that position; good technique & passing, built like a tank, can tackle, isn't particularly fussy with the ball and does the dirty work when he has to. The things he lacks like good positioning and reading of the game will come with experience, just a shame he can't go on loan because he'd really benefit from it.

As Zedie said I'd be much less concerned with Frimpong in there if we had Jack, he really ties it all together

This is the thing, i could see jack playing in the Cesc role, i think Ramsey is probably better in the CM position, more advanced than Song or Frimps would be in the single static DM role, but not as in the thick of it as Cesc was.

We need another AM god dammit.

He's got game, was really excited seeing him in some of our pre-season games and the Udinese game, I think he has a really bright future in the club.
