great sig
I remember initially being annoyed when Nasri wouldn't shoot, and thought he'd lost it when the second Fulham defender slid in, then saw the net ripple... if he lost me from a good vantage point, the Fulham defenders had no chance, excellent goal

Man Utd Vs Arsenal | FA Cup 12/03/2011

Postby Irish_Gooner » Wed Mar 09, 2011 4:24 pm

With only 2 cups left and a possible huge early season run in scalp on Utd strongest XI is needed.

Dont forget Utd have CL next week so that might be on their minds.

Hopefully none of the shite we saw earlier in the season. We need another huge performance to springboard

Id be happy with that.

So you want to throw the FA cup even after all the effort and replays to get this far?

There is only going to be a total of about 13 possible games now, might as well go for both since the schedule won't be so congested. :dontknow:

Maybe but i just feel the injuries and so many players not 'on form' so to speak concentrating on the league might be best option as "its a marathon not a sprint" etc.

Want us to win all the same though.

Ticket arrived yesterday.

I'm really hoping that Rambo gets a game on Saturday. Been hoping that one of the games I saw might coincide with his return.

If Cesc and RVP are carrying niggles, I don't want them to start. If they are fit enough to play some part, leave them on bench.

I'd be thinking a team along these lines, about 50/50 first choice/reserves:

Almunia

Eboue Kos Miquel Gibbs

Rambo Jack

Bendy Nas Arshavin

Chamakh

United's midfield has looked dodgy recently, to my knowledge, so we could probably risk a more attacking midfield in this one.

Give 2/3 of the back 5 a rest. Arshavin, Bendy & Chamakh had an easy week off really, so no reason not to play them. Only Nas and Jack played both games, and so I'd consider starting them, but wouldn't be worried if they were rested.
