Cesc just tweeted on his injury and the final:

"I dont know if ill make sunday or no, but all i know is that from this moment to sunday 16'30 i wont sleep if its necessary. Ive waited too long to captain a final for arsenal and i wont give up till the last second."

We love you Cesc... still, it's only the CC

If there's any risk it should be out of the question! We're 1 point behind ManUre and they're playing Chavscum soon!

I'm with you on Rosicky, I reckon he's may be being saved for Birmingham!

God forbid me to suggest it, but I think Nasri can pull the strings. Hes been our best player this season and the best in the EPL. Rosicky and Arshavin coming back to form could help directly with Theo and Cesc in the interem. Plus we got an English Fabregas in Jack so we could simply bump him up and put Dean Nelson in at CDM with Song. Keep your heads up guys.

I'm not as bothered about Theo cause we have Arshavin as a replacement and stats wise Nasri was much better on the right. Fabregas needs to play on Sunday though.

Unless he's 100% fit I'd much rather he didn't to be honest. With important fixtures coming up in the league (and in Europe for that matter), the last thing we wanna do is risk rushing him back too early thus exacerbating the extent of the injury.

Most footballers play with a niggle so very rarely are they ever 100%

But I see where you are coming from.

we need cesc, nasri is no replacement for him. Cesc is direct and quick, nasri is not.

When we dont have cesc its so obvious that we lack creativity. Bham are going to defend, we need cesc for that. Just look at the game yesterday, I expect bham to play like that. i.e. park the bus and defend in numbers and then hope for a setpiece or corner to score.

In the beginning of the game we had cesc yesterday and we opened stoke up a few times when we really should have scored. After cesc went off not once did we threaten stoke or get behind them. That is why cesc is going to be key.

I agree that we do need Cesc. Sometimes our attack is very stagnant without him.

I disagree. I don't think we 'need' Cesc in order to beat Birmingham at all.
