For these types of games we should jut play a straight 4-4-2...

Al
Sagna - Squillaci - Miquel - Gibbs

Rosicky - Song - Denilson - Arshavin

Bendtner - Chamakh

This second string team doesn't play on our attacks strength, just play Cham and Bendy up front and deliver an aerial bombardment.

Or at least switch nik and chamakh if it isn't working.

He's shocking mate. Huddersfield were going to sign him but there was a few problems with the Turkish club he was at. In the end they realised it was pointless.

Chamakh has lost alot of confidence since the start of the season. I can't see how losing his place to RVP could have affected it as he surely knew when he signed that he was backup just like Eduardo. Something else must be the cause.

Maybe hes not settled off the pitch, coming here and meeting new people, places etc eventually wears off.

Maybe it is something like that. It definately seems more than just poor form.

Macca just said on ESPN "The replay comes after the Barca game"

No it doesn't, Steve.

terrible to draw this game it was the last thing we wanted another game we have enough as it is without an extra one,on chamakh we really should start him in the CC final and maybe even stoke on tuesday to try and give him his confidence he really looks lost at the moment which is not good for us at all

Moan all they like about an extra game, but if you don't put the original to bed, this is what happens.

Can't see the financial people at Arsenal moaning about an extra 60,000 punters flocking through the turnstiles.
