If in doubt, kick it out as they say.

I am glad he did tbh.

I'm guessing our streams are showing different angles then? Cos Chez was THAT Close to the ball, Djourou almost kicked his hands as well? He was literally grabbing for it with no way in hell another player getting to it...

I'm loving Theo on the left!

England has a solution, Theo left, Johnson right... sorted!

Me to. I don't mind any defender taking no chances and getting rid of it.

Always a little frustraiting when you miss so many chances, but it's another two goals for our star striker who's gonna rip Barca a new arse hole!!! Another clean sheet, another 3 points... lovely!

Indeed. He is probably our most important player at the moment.

Our defence is as good as any in the League with him in it, thats how good he is.

We just beat a team who outplayed and beat an unbeaten Man Utd and they didn't even have a shot on target, i think that speaks volumes for how good our defence is.

Still not sold on Chesney though but would rather him than Almunia.

agree, Djourou looks so assured on the ball and it just gives more confidence to our defense in general. Imo Djourou and kozzers have to start on Wednesday.

Kozza didn't have a bad game today either. He definitely learns from DJ... He gives him that confidence I think.

Chim-chimney, chim-chimney, chim chim cheroo, who needs Sol Campbell when we've got Djourou
