that will definately not be the team. I hope it is though. I would prefer we pick a strong team for this one and maybe a weaker one for huddersfield.

I hope:

Scscesny
Eboue - Djourou - Koscielny - Gibbs
Denilson - Wilshere
Rosicky
Walcott - Chamahk - Arshavin

Sagna to rest, Lord eboue to play, idemdito for Clichy/Gibbs.
Song to rest and some playing time for dean. Rosicky to finally play again.
A Chance for arshavin to show us what he is capable off, good game to get his confidence back.
When chamahkster finally gets his dick out of swedish women, he can play.

however, put Nasri, Van Persian and Cesc on the bench, just in case..
Rest in Peace SE13 :(

I'd go for the team that beat Leeds
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard
???/Havertz

I'd expect the team to be more like that.
That's about 7 changes from today's side but should be enough to win the game.
If we haven't won it after an hour we can then bring on Cesc, RVP and Nasri.

No, No, Noooooooooo!!!!

Why do managers do this? Lets start with weak team and then bring on good players if needed.

Why not start with your best team, pulverise them and be 3-0 up by half time, then make changes to rest the players that need rest???

Relax, he hasn't done it yet.

It depends on the schedule. If we have a lot of tough games coming up against teams like Barca you don't want your key players knackering themselves out against a poor side (yes I know they're 1-0 up).
If we play properly and not cack like we did last time then our B team should be able to beat this side with the key players on the bench just in case.

I think Cesc, Nas and RvP will start.

For the love of god do not start Bendtner on the wing, he looks like an Elephant on Rollerblades ffs

How can you do that to a CF? At least play Chamakh there who spent A LOT of time on the wing in Bordeuax's 4-3-3...

Bendtner looked completely out of place and clueless when I last saw him play there, we may be well have been playing with 10 men.

BBC2! Get in!

We can rest players against Huddersfield, we can't screw up our best shot at a trophy in a match where we are already 1-0 down

Eboue at DM anyone ?

Let's be fair, Bendtner put in an absolute gem of a cross for RVP from the right wing against Leeds.

Bar that he was poor though, if we start him up top he can at least inter-change and still produce some quality crosses
