He was our right back the season we got to the CL final and he was amazing that year. The only reason he turned shit, and the only reason people turned against him was because he was moved to the right wing by Wenger and it didn't work for him. For a while now he's been between the two positions.

Today, position wise, I'd just just put it down to him not having played for a long time. He makes it on the pitch every now and then, but usually as a winger. This season he's only covered Sagna's injuries or made 10 minute appearances at the end of games. If we had to rely on him long term, I have no doubt that he would eventually come good after a handful of games.

actually i was thinking the same.
Eboue started abit shaky with Hines troubling him abit with Cole.
But as the game progressed i thought he more than held his own against them.
I always fancied Eboue the right back and not Eboue the right winger.
He's got a decent work rate and pace but the crossing's not as good as Sagna though.

I disagree, I think his crossing is actually better. One thing about Eboue, he'll NEVER hit the first man with his cross.
He's set up a few goals from crosses in his time.

Overall, for someone who is in and out of the side in random patches I thought he did well. His dribbling is far better than Sagna's (and better than Theo's on one of his bad days) and his stamina is impressive.
If Sagna was out of a long time it wouldn't worry me.

Yup, Eboue is a better crosser. Sagna's crosses hit the first man more often than not. Sagna is a decent crosser but the worse crosser in our team is Clichy. How bad are his crosses?

yesterday under absolutely no pressure he crossed the ball and it bounced just before the line on the other side. I honestly was trying to understand how a professional footballer can over hit his cross by such a big margin? I can only assume the ball must have bobbled as the pitch was pretty shit.

There really isn't that much difference between Wilshere now and Cesc at that age. Wilshere's obviously is a bit more robust, and more willing to run with the ball than Cesc was at that age, but the vision and touch, ability to create space... born to be a playmaker!!!

There is still a big difference IMO.

We seem to forget that he has not had the best of form recently. This may remind you of who he really is in years past.

If you think that was great, then see what Fab can do at 1:43 in this video. He totally pwned the savage Savage. People seem to forget that he is good with the ball on his feet, long, through, one-touch passes and short balls, intelligence on the ball that we have not seen in the EPL in ages. I think we are not seeing the best of him because of unintelligent or annoying players like - Arshavin, Bendtner, and sometimes Theo

watch at 1:43

Once again RvP reminds us why we miss him every damn season when he is injured. Thought we looked great and I think this game just truly solidifies our starting attack. It must include Cesc, Nasri, Walcott and RvP at the start of every game.

Did anyone go to the match yesterday?

I've never watched a game of football at such a shit view. Our support was brilliant and Upton Park was really quiet as a whole!

IMO it has. Too much tippy tappy play and not enough direct, counter-attacking clockwork like we saw yesterday.

Would you suck a 100 year old's cock, eat a 90 year old's shit, drink a 80 year old's piss from his boxer shorts, stick your tounge up a 70 year old's arse, lick a 60 year old's vomit off a toilet seat, and f**k a 2 year old ?
