If Schwarzer starts, expect a focused display against us, he'll be wanting to remind Arsene why he showed interest in the summer.

We should win though, im going 2-1 for the Gunners..

Fabianski
Sagna Squillaci Djourou Clichy
Song
Rosicky Nasri Arshavin
Van Persie Chamahkster

Djourou deserves the chance imo, he's getting better.
Our midfield existing out rosicky, nasri and arshavin. Rotating places all the time

Van persie and chamahkster up front, curious how that works out!

Doubt that will happen this weekend...

I would love the two of them up there together, but my money is on RVP starting on the bench.
This space used to be more fun...

I think we have to be sensible with the lineups, they might look good but many of them would make us far too narrow.

My team...

Fabianski

Sagna - Djourou - Koscielny - Clichy

Song - Wilshere

Rosicky

Nasri - Chamakh - Arshavin

Squillaci has a knee injury and i think Djourou and Kos show a far better understanding, plus Djourou has to start, he has been our best defender lately.

RvP looked sharp but he still needs to work on his fitness, i would bring him on as a sub in the 60th, and Walcott too.

I wouldnt, id swap Arshavin and Rosicky round so he can help Clichy defend plus worked well against Villa.

In front of who?

He doesn't deserve to start in front of Chamakh, or Nasri or even Arshavin.

The bench is where he belongs.

He obviously can't prove currently that he deserves to start ahead of then (despite being MoTM vs Wigan), but his past ability should put him right up there

MOTM v Wigan that did make me chuckle, the MOTM IMO was Vela, despite not scoring he was our biggest threat and his cross was a peach, RvP brought his customary flicks and tricks and was nearly out for 6 months again...

His past ability doesn't mean he should automatically start when we have a striker who A) Can stay fit B) Has a 1 in 2 GS ratio for us and a shit ton of assists and C) Is a beast.

The only way RvP should ever start for us again is in a 4-4-2 alongside Cham, and seeing as AW is never going to go back to a 4-4-2, i would choose Cham everytime for a 4-3-3.

RvP should play in the reserves until next year IMO, if he comes through unscathed, then he can start.

Its the only word to describe him...

I was having a word with my best mate (Manc fan but loves Arsenal) who said that he thinks he has been one of the best signings, if not the best signing of the season, he also said that if Man Utd had paid £15-£20m for him and he had given them that sort of goal return, he would be happy, especially seeing how long its taken £30m Berbatov who already had a ton of Prem experience to settle and he is still erratic now...

I agreed and then he said but considering you got him for free, its amazing.

He still does things that annoy me a lot but he is getting better and better each game.
