really? i didnt think we were second best at all, we were pretty confortable for most the game, not at our best but cruising for much of it. Only at the end did we look nervy.

everton managed very little till those last few minutes and fabianski made a few great saves but we had a few guilt edged chances to close out the match and were defending pretty well.

the Chamakh goal that never was would have sealed this one IMO and been much better for the old ticker.

Great result.
Won the game without playing at our best, especially for the first 40 minutes.
Fabianski saved our arses a few times there. He's virtually undroppable at the moment.

Both goals were great so we can still turn it on away from home when we want to.

Great win but we really dont make it easy for ourselves as the game closes out. Has happened many times before. Just wish we can be more dominating and sure in the final few minutes

Fantastic result, that was never a foregone conclusion.

Player rating thread is up, can members please give their ratings if they have time as the last couple of games haven't had many raters. Thanks.

Yes, it wasn't great for the nerves in the last few minutes, but a win is a win no matter how it comes, and this weekend finally capitalised on a slip up from one of the top four/five.

I can't see Sunderland snatching anything today, but if they do......

Great result and great weekend for us.

Makes up for the newcastle f**k up. I said after that game we wont win the title but people rightly pointed out it was still november.

If chelsea can lose 3-0 at home to sunderland then anything is possible.
