You could see the expression of concern on Wenger's face as the game edged on. Described what I think everyone was thinking. The goal once again imo showed our maturity, how we have grown since prior seasons. Whereas before we might have sulked or said "its just not our day", we just kept battling, didn't drop our heads. The emergence of Walcott, Nasri, Song, and Fabianski has seemed to really help the "stars" feel a little more confident with those around them I think.

It was great to see Clichy looking sharp and aggressive again. Chamakh is just pure class, never stops hustling, and he had some great passing and touches. Squillaci has also looked much more "settled" now and has been looking like the perfect partner for Vermy, though I must admit Kos is great one on one. He can strip about anyone.

It's 30 seconds per substitute and goal. And that's a minimum of 30 seconds per each.

Never got all that until Sir Alcoholic started pointing at his imaginary watch...... At about the same time as ManUre started winning with exceptionally late goals......

good.never understood why a substitution or a goal celebration was only 30 seconds
it should be from when play stops to when it starts again
west ham substiutions were a disgrace today
i pay to see 90 mins

What a relief. West ham came for a draw and got nothing. They deserve what they got.

I think they came with a gameplan which was to close us down and defend deep and tight. However this only worked because of the incompetence of the referee who allowed them to committ foul after foul without booking them.

How Parker, De Costa, Behrami didnt get even a yellow is just beyond me. I hate these referees who try to be best mates with everyone and dont book players. Even the linesman was rubbish. What was that flag for on Chamakh?

The referee's leniency almost cost us 2 points.

Just got back from the game. When that goal went in you could just feel the relief around the stadium. Thought West Ham did brilliantly and it nearly worked for them. We were very poor, kept giving the ball away and were wasteful in front of goal. Thank goodness for subs such as Walcott and Bendtner who looked sharp when they came on. As someone said earlier, this is a game we would have either lost or drawn but we battled and stuck with it and eventually got what we needed and wanted.

We didn't think he would play on Sunday because he was suspended - that makes me think he has all the qualities to join Arsenal!
