i was actually suprised but happy he bought on Cesc.

This is because he showed that killer instinct and wasnt complascent even though we were 2-0 up.

I was sad that Vela played ahead of JET. JET should have been in the starting line up and Vela on the bench.

Lets hope now we get a easy home game next up.

I take your point about Cesc and we do need to kill off teams in cup games but at that point they'd given up imo.
We could've brought on Fabianski and played him as a CF we still would've won the game.

I see us drawing away West-Spam,Aston Villa, or ManYouy what ever more of the same and i see us winning the cup :) Im happy wenger is looking to awnser some of the fans questions look at the list he done for us

1) Playing first teamers in the CC
2) Saying its been to long and how he wants to win something
4) Telling us he going for all trohpies were currently involved in
5) Broke Almunias Rist so he cant play anymore
6) Swoped Buffon DNA with Flappy to make Super Flap!

I could not be happier :) FA cup looks like a good option aswell :

1.) Not happy about that at ALL.
2.) He's been saying that for the last 3 years
3.) What happened to number three, have you forgotten how to count...?
4.) He says that every season.
5.) Good move.
6.) Very good move.

Well newcastle had brought on carrol, barton, gutierrez. 1 goal at 2-0 and the whole game changes. So it was a good move by Wenger in my opinion. It showed he is taking every game seriously.

I can't for the life of me think why he brought Cesc on?But hey, that's Wenger,as you say the clattering by Barton was sooo predictable why?As for JET not getting a start ahead of Vela is another :BangHead: a great team performance although Sagna and Eboue gave me a few scares, nice finishing by Walcott and a great strike from Bendy,Man Ure in the next round for sure!!!! :shifty: :shifty:

Very disappointed with Wenger though. No JET until the 85th minute ffs?!? :BangHead: :disgust:

Brings on Cesc bloody Fabregas when we're already 3-0 up. Why? :dontknow: :dontknow:
As soon as he came on I said to the missus what the f**k is he doing on the pitch? In a minute Barton will clatter into him and he'll be out for six weeks.
Five minutes later Barton fouled him, what a shocker. Hopefully he's not too injured but it was soooooooo predictable, even Chvint predicted it.

Even if he'd brought on Lansbury instead of Cesc, anyone else but him, what was the point?
Not surprised Vela came off as he wasn't on form either. On current form JET should definitely start ahead of Vela. I don't care if Vela patiently waited 3 years before he finally joined us and that he's the best chipper of goalies in the western hemisphere, JET is on f***ing fire and would've EASILY scored the chances that Vela had and set up nine others.
Why did AW jizz himself into a stupor in that interview over how good JET is and then bring him on with FIVE minutes to go? What's he supposed to do in five f***ing minutes ffs?

/rant.

P.s. nice goal Bendy.

Cesc got injured? :dontknow:

Cesc was needed, we were losing the midfield battle and giving the ball away cheaply, Guitierrez and Carroll were all over us

Sagna looked scared at 1 point

Cesc came on and steadied the ship

Missed this game. Anywhere I can see highlights?

Happy with the result though, obviously. Disappointed that Gibbs had to go off injured, anyone know how bad that is?

How did Szczesny do?

www.101greatgoals.com probably has highlights

No news that I know of about Gibbs yet

And Szczesny looked very good. Had a couple real nice saves and a very strong punch right at the final whistle.

Arsenal.com says Gibbs is out for "a few weeks" with a knee ligament injury.
