No keeper was saving that, forget the fact that it was a well placed volley with loads of pace, he was also screened by Squillaci.

Not sure why you all liked Eduardo so much when he played for you. He was never good enough to be playing for a top team.

You really don't?

He played well for us before his injury and was on his way to becoming an influential member of the squad. Sure he wasn't the best player on the pitch at the time, but he certainly wasn't a passenger. Then the horrible injury... Not many players are ever going to come back to their previous level after almost losing their foot.

That's why people love him. That's why we loved him when he was here.

Nobody really LOVED him before his injury... but he was well liked because he showed some real clinical finishing ability. And there was no reason not to like him.

His goal scoring record in his first/only proper season with us was pretty good tbf. But I think the guy's class is what has endeared him to many gooners.

I don't mean it in a way you shouldn't like him. I just think he got better treatment than other players because of his injury.

Well yeah... We're not all heartless. You're going to have some sympathy for a player that suffers what he did and works that hard to return.

I don't think I'm in the minority when I say that based on his footballing ability after the injury I wasn't disappointed to see him leave. But I was a bit sad, because he wasn't able to fulfill his potential.

I still struggle to believe quite how good Jack Wilshere is.

Jack and Eddy both score, nice game. Strange as well, I can't believe we scored 5 goals. We only had like 7 shots overall. Didn't really get out of second gear

Well you're hearing things. You obviously have the obsession with Adebayor cos he's all you talk about.
