Now you want Fabianski to be number 1???

Anyway, he had a good game but in totall fairness he had hardly anything to do all game. He had to make a few saves when we were 3-1 up against 10 men and were comfortably going to win.

Says something about the state of our keeping situation when people get excited after that game doesn't it?

We're still horribly shaky at the back, Djourou still scares the shit out of me, Jack was good again. Arshavin was good also for once, Fabby did well when he was called upon, but still also scares me. And I really think we need to start games better, especially away games, it seems like it always takes us a while to get in our groove and thats going to hurt us soon.

Fabby was playing? No wonder he hasn't been around much.

I digress. I completely agree Chavster. We were absolutely torn apart at the back at times. If Partisan had of had faster forwards we'd have been in serious trouble.. One first half attack a very simple ball caught our whole back line out, the bloke just wasn't fast enough to capitalize on it.

It was a mix of that and poor finishing. Time and time again they were shooting from outside the box and not even coming close enough to get worried.

I remember the attack you're talking about. How any team can't score from that. He didn't have the legs to keep going but had a man running in for a 1 on 1 with the keeper.

True. When we play better teams that wont be the case and we'll get punished. I was feeling good about our defence, but not after yesterday to be honest.

The game against West Brom didn't give me much faith in our defense either... or the match against Tottenscum... (granted Eboue was playing RB there)

I'll just say, I don't have much faith in our defending anymore.

We need TV back.

Yeah, sadly it does. It also reflects the mentality of a lot of Arsenal fans. We are so desperate to have a good keeper that one decent performance from one of our keepers and all the previous cock ups are forgotton.

The sudden faith some of us now seem to have in Fabianski is born more out of hope than faith. Look at the margins of success and failure. That save Fabianski made at the end, he diverted the balls direction by maybe an inch past the left post.

If he was .01 second slower in his reaction it would have gone in off of him and I bet you anything all of us would have said oh no flappianski strikes again.

It will take a lot more than his performance last night for me to start trusting in him.

Again... Sarcasm is well and truely wasted on some people.

NO ONE WITH A BRAIN WANTS FABBIANSKI TO BE OUR NUMBER 1.

The debates have already started over whether it was a glimpse of his true ability or simply a one-off. We won't know until he repeats it. The fact is, anyone, no matter how shit, deserves credit when they put in a good performance.

Our goalkeeper situation is shambolic, but Wenger has faith in Flappy for a reason, he's obviously seen something we haven't... everyone developes at different rates afterall! Flappy COULD BE a great keeper, we're all hoping, but no-one is expecting.

sarcasm? why would people go to the length of making graphics about fabianski being number 1, putting it in their signature just to be sarcastic?
