The number of times we've been caught out in the past because Gallas AND Vermaelen both ran up the pitch to join the attack.
Also looking at his CV he's got bags of experience and plenty of it is at CL level. Loads of trophies under his belt as well.
Overall a real bargain.

Drogba never used to be though, his first few seasons at Chelsea were shit.

That doesn't really mean anything though GG. Henry was a flop in Italy then came to Arsenal and set the world on fire.
Drogba is the BEST CF in the world today. He may not have the skills of Torres or the knack of being in the right place of Villa, but even at 33 I would take him over both of them.
